Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
